Light Summer Make-up

Hello, lovelies!

How are you doing? Hope you’ve all had an amazing weekend 🙂

Today’s post is on my favourite make-up look for Summer. It’s light, with a pop of colourful and, personally, I think it looks great for this time of the year.

I’m not one to be very bold but I always have to add a pop of colour to everything and this time it was the lipstick. Again, it’s not bold, but it’s one of my favourites – it’s an orangy-coral from The Body Shop that I’ve had for three or four years and has been my favourite ever since.

Well, better I leave you with the pictures and telling you more about it afterwards 😛

These are the products I’ve used to achieve this look. Personally, I believe these products are actually few but some of you might be thinking ‘wow! She used a lot of make-up!‘ 😛

I started by using the wonderful Healthy Mix foundation by Bourjois, which is lovely for a Spring / Summer make-up look since it leaves your skin looking glowy and healthy and fresh.

After that, I went in with the Dream Lumi concealer by Maybelline under my eyes and on my eyelids as well, to prep them for eyeshadow. Then I set everything with a very light layer of the Invisible Powder from Kiko. I followed that with a touch of my 41 Bonne Mine blush by Bourjois, which is a gorgeous, matte orangy-colour.

On my eyes, I started by applying Smarty Pants on my crease to give a bit more definition to the eye and then applied Funny Girl all over the lid to give it a champagny-glow.

Followed that with The Colossal Volum Express 100% Black mascara by Maybelline, added my trusted lipstick in 110 Coral Blush, which is from The Body Shop (I believe it has different packaging now).

And the look was complete!

What about you, guys? What’s your favourite look for Summer? I’d love to know!

Love,

Alice ♥
