‘No Makeup’ Makeup

Hello, lovelies!

How are you guys doing? Hope you’ve had a great weekend and wish you all a fantastic week πŸ™‚

On today’s post I’ll be sharing with you my ‘no makeup’ makeup look. As the name suggests, if you don’t know the concept, it’s a very natural look, that is meant to enhance what you already have and make it look like you’re not wearing any makeup, just like you’re naturally that fab! πŸ˜‰

So, if you’re not one to wear much makeup, if you’re just starting to play around with makeup, if you’re searchingΒ for a more natural look and a way to just enhance your features while evening out your skin tone and slightly concealing dar circles and the occasional spot, this post’s for you.

If you’re neither of the above, feel free to read the post as well πŸ˜‰

These are the few products I used:

First, I went in with my new L’OrΓ©al Magic Cushion Foundation, which I applied with the Real Techniques’ sponge (damp) for an even more natural finish.

Then, with the same sponge, I applied my Cover-up ConcealerΒ by H&M underneath the eyes and on a little spot I had going on.

I ever so slightly followed that with someΒ Hoola more as a bronzer than as a contour, to give some warmth and shape. I applied that with a brush to the hollows of the cheeks, temples and the sides of my nose.

Then a touch of MAC’sΒ Cubic blush, my favourite one ever since it’s so natural and flattering. Followed that with a bit ofΒ Roller Lash mascara (you could go for a clear or brown one, if you wanted the look to be even more ‘natural’).

For lipstick, I chose theΒ 918 Classic Rose Smart Lipstick by Kiko, which is a very natural, barely there colour, which I thought was very complementary to the look.

(As I mentioned on my post about growing my brows, I haven’t been applying anything to my brows for the past year or so. Since I’m waiting for them to grow, and there are quite a few hairs running mad – as you’ll be able to see bellow -, I think that applying anything to them’d just make the whole thing look weirder. But you totally could, depends on your preference.)

And here’s how it turned out:

What do you guys think? Does it look natural or not at all? πŸ˜›

Also, which are your favourite products to achieve this sort of look? Tell me all about it! πŸ™‚

Love,

    1. Thank you so much, Shakira πŸ™‚ I’ve been loving this look for when my skin’s having a good day. Also, I love changing the lipstick for a darker, vampy one, it’s perfect for this time of the year πŸ™‚ xx
