On today’s post I’ll be reviewing the other lipsticks I got on my Feelunique Haul at the beginning of the month (here, in case you missed it). Last post was a *cough cough* bit of a rant about the Clinique Pop Matte Lip Colour + Primer so I thought I’d review these ones as well, in case any of you want to buy them.
Be advised, you’ll probably think I’ve gone mad and bought two of the same colour. I did not, they’re just pretty similar 😛
Again, I was searching for Autumnal colours (which are pretty much my fave to wear all year round), these ones had nice reviews, a discount and I’d never tried anything from theBalm beforehand so I thought it’d be a nice way to try their products.
Contrary to what happened with the Clinique lipsticks, when I swatched these ones I was still impressed, the colours were still dreamy.
I do really love this colour. It’s the ‘your lips but better’ shade that I was searching for and couldn’t find on the Clinique lipstick. I’ll be getting a lot of wear out of it, and not during Autumn as this is a very ‘me’ shade and I’ll be wearing it all year round.
Another very ‘me’ shade. Slightly on the pink side, though, but it still manages to get this lipstick into my Favourites. As with Sincere, I think I’ll be wearing all year round and not only during Autumn, so it was definitely money well spent 🙂
I find them a tad drying on the lips but overall I think it’s a great, affordable liquid lipstick. It applies smoothly, not patchy, dries after about 20 to 30 seconds and lasts a few hours on the lips (depends on what you eat, drink, you know the deal).
They have a chocolaty-minty scent to them so, if you don’t like that, I wouldn’t advise you to get these.
→ Overall opinion: 4 out of 5!

First of all, I love the shade names as sincere and charming and I’m really pleased with the wonderful thoughtful names and coming back to the hue and texture, it looks spot on. Great pick Alice

Thanks, dear 🙂 I love the names as well, and I’m much more pleased with these ones than I am with the Clinique ones I reviewed on my previous post. These colours are what they promise, what you see is what you get. The texture’s really nice, they’re very comfortable to wear and not drying on the lips at all. And the colour’s are just stunning 😍 xx
