Feelunique Haul

Hello, lovelies!

How are you doing? Remember last Monday’s post, where I told you I wasn’t really needing anything, which was why I didn’t but much at Sephora? I then hinted that I’d be proving you (or myself, I don’t really know 😛 ) wrong today, which is exactly what this post’s all about.

The first post this October was me sharing with you the fact that Feel Unique was having a sale. I told you all about the products I wanted and those that were on my (let’s be real) fictional list. Well… Surprise, surprise, I placed an order! I just couldn’t resist…

Frankly speaking, I was in need of a new cleanser, since I’m about to run out of my bareMinerals’ Purifying Facial Cleanser. But then I thought: I get free shipping in an order over €40… And free samples… Okay, proceed to check out it is!

I ended up buying quite a few things, some of which I’d been wanting to try for a while. And, I have to admit, I stocked up on Autumn lipsticks (with colours appropriate for this time of the year, that is), which’s what I was missing in my collection! So buckle up and here we go 🙂

This is everything I got

Skincare

♥ A couple of samples

This Origins cleanser / exfoliator’s the best thing I’ve ever tried! No joke, after washing my face with it once, the difference on my skin was clear as day. My blemishes were gone, the scarring was reduced, the skin felt incredibly softer and looked so much better, healthier, alive! I can’t praise it enough ♥ It has a quite noticeable citric scent, which I don’t really mind.

I was very pleased with the Antiac as well! I only used it three times but I feel like it helped my skin 🙂

♥ Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser

My skin’s been a bit reactive over the last month, ever since I changed my skincare routine (though it’s incredibly better already, much thanks to that Origins sample!). Since I was in need of a new cleanser, I thought it’d be better if I purchased one that wasn’t very strong or abrasive, that wasn’t harsh on the skin ’cause all she needs now is some TLC 😉

Have you guys tried it? What do you think of it? I’ll be giving it a go as soon as I run out of my bareMinerals’ one, which should be any day now.

Makeup (& Accessories)

If you read my Disappointing Beauty Products post that I wrote over a year ago, you’ll know that I absolutely hated the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion! Just after a while, it started having a weird scent and a weird, runny / plastic-y texture. If I don’t apply any to my super oily lids, my eye-makeup will be gone in a couple of hours so I was in need of a new primer. And this one was only €5,50 / $6 / £5, so I decided to give it a go.

♥ L’Oreal Nude Magic Cushion Foundation in ‘Golden Beige 7’

Ever since this foundation came out, I’ve been wanting to try it. I just hear so many great things about it! The idea of a cushion foundation just amazes me and the geek inside me is super anxious to give this a go!

♥ Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

This is a product that I’d been wanting to try for about a year or more. I hear great things about it, how it’s even better than the Beauty Blender and amazing, flawless even, at applying your makeup! And it was about 20% off so I just took advantage of that 😉

Lipsticks

As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, I wanted ‘Autumnal’ lip colours so, after lots of research and looking to countless pictures of swatches, I ended up getting these:

♥ Clinique Pop Matte Lip Colour and Primer in ‘Cute Pop’

♥ Clinique Pop Matte Lip Colour and Primer in ‘Bold Pop’

♥ theBalm Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in ‘Sincere’

♥ theBalm Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in ‘Charming’

Swatches of all these lipsticks will be coming in a while, I have a special post planned for that 😉

What about the other things I bought? Have you tried any of them? What were your thoughts on them? I’d love to know!

Love,

Alice ♥

  1. Perfect picks. Those alluring lipsticks look so gorgeous and I’ve heard so many wonderful reviews about Loreal cushion foundation and I can’t wait to read about your thoughts on this product and then, moving along to RT miracle complexion sponge – I’ve purchased that recently and still haven’t started using it

    1. Those alluring lipsticks might just not be that alluring after all 😕 I’ve only used the foundation once and not for long, but I really loved it! The RT sponge’s just amazing, perfect for foundation, concealer and powder! I advise you to start using it soon 😉 xx
