Hello, lovelies!
How are you doing? There seems to be a problem with all my posts, since pretty much all the pictures are gone and I don’t know why. I’m trying to solve that problem but I had to rewrite this whole post.
On October 1st, I spent the day in Paris, in the Boulevard Haussmann / Madeleine / Opera area, which is quite touristic and great for shopping. That being said, I didn’t buy much, though I stocked up on my favourite Nespresso coffee π
Of course, it couldn’t be a trip to Paris without a trip to both Sephora (you’ll be getting a post on that soon) and Starbucks, so I thought I’d share with you the pictures I took that day. Hope you like them π
Have you guys haver been to Paris? If so, what did you think? If not, is it on your list?
Love,
AliceΒ β₯
I’ve been to Paris two times and I really love the romantic city. Lovely pictures too

No, it was just my blog, kindly deciding to delete them all π¦ Glad to know the problem has been solved! Have you ever been to Paris? I used to hate it but, I have to admit, it’s growing on me. It’s just pretty, what can I say π xx

I have but it was my first trip abroad, it was cold and I was with an idiot boyfriend. I didn’t enjoy it. However, now I’d really like to go back as I think I’d appreciate it moreπ x

Sorry to hear that π I hope you get to come again and enjoy it much more, it really is a beautiful city. However, I found the Zara and Mango at Boulevard Haussmann were terrible, they didn’t have many of the things I saw online (some of which I had my eyes on). Which is weird, considering it’s the second most famous shopping area in Paris! So bear that in mind whenever you want to come shopping π x

Haha Sephora is first on my list. We do have Zara and Mango here thankfullyπ I think I would a lot more now, so it’s on my list to visitπ xx

I know, but shopping is shopping π I love me some Zara and Mango! But I totally understand wanting to go to Sephora first π xx

Haha I’d do all the shopsπ But we still don’t have Sephora so that’s stop oneπ x

Why is it that you guys don’t have Sephora? I know you don’t but never knew why π x

I think years ago there was one but it didn’t do well as rent’s were high. Tbh though they put it in a quieter shopping centre, where more middle aged shoppers go. There’s runours they’re opening one in a shopping centre not too far from me. It’s a super busy one x

Which is a total bother, right? π I can assure you, it will be terrible for your bank account π I think it’s not very clever of them to not have shops there, hope they can see the light π xx

Haha definitely. I avoid that shopping centre usuallyπ Haha yes it will be awful for my bank account. I love the look of the sets Sephora do, like Sephora favourites etcπ Oh yeah. I’m surprised they’ve not really tried to open stores over here. I’d imagine it’d do great xx

Oh, I know what you mean, alright π oh, don’t even tell me about those sets π when I did my New in Beauty post for this season, I fell in love with all their sets, I seriously want every single one of them! They’re just the perfect choice of products, and great value for money! I’m so glad I don’t live close to a Sephora, specially one in the US! π Yeah, I’m sure they’d do brilliantly over there, they totally have the market for it! Maybe soon π xx

The sets are so good and I agree great value. I’d love some of them in my Christmas stockingπ How far is Sephora from you? I can imagine if they open here, we’ll finally be able to order online here too from them. Then I will be brokeπ I think potentially. Influential bloggers have said it’s opening. Sephora wont confirm or deny a shop. Fingers crossedβΊ xx

Oh, I’d get some in mine as well, gladly! π well, Paris is about 1h30 away (including train and tube), but I have one that’s closer. The problem’s that there are no transports, so I have to go by car and that’s not practical for me at the moment π my bank account’s grateful for that, but Feelunique delivers to France (and for free in orders over β¬40) so that’s as big a problem as having a Sephora closer to me would be π Well, us bloggers tend to know a thing or two, specially the influential ones π I hope their right! Xx

Haha hopefully santa’s listeningπ Haha online shopping does me too! I’m always on Cult Beauty, Feel Unique etc. Where abouts in France are you?βΊ I hope they’re right too. Maybe it’ll open before Christmas, as people said they’ve got the store and have been working insideβΊ x

Hopefully he is π I’m near Fontainebleau, which is a very touristic city to the South East of Paris, about 75 kilometres away. It’s quite nice because it’s a mix between city and countryside, we have forests and rivers and it’s rather pretty π I’m hoping we get snow too, back in Portugal we never did :p Well, then I think it might just open before Christmas! I mean, it’s the smart thing to do. I’m sure you’ll end up purchasing quite a few Christmas presents for yourself π xx

It sounds niceπ What made you move to France? Haha we hardly get snow in London. It just gets cold. A snowy Christmas would be niceπ Haha if they’re smart it’ll open November and then I’ll end up getting myself presents and no one elseπ xx

It was mostly love π things in Portugal weren’t easy, job-wise. So me and my boyfriend decided to try our luck in France, since his family was already here. I love London, it’s like my home away from home π a snowy Christmas would be dreamy π See? Great minds think alike! Hope they have as great minds as we do ππ xx

Haha of course. France is the country of loveπ Aaw glad you like it here. A lot of people I know have moved to France lately. Must be a nice place to live. It really would be dreamyπ Haha I hope they do have great minds. If it’s not open before Christnas I wont be happyπ xx

I don’t agree with that, actually. For me, the country of love’s Italy π France’s (so far) a nice place to live, I can’t complain π And you’re absolutely right! How dare them, not opening before Christmas! ππ xx
