How are you doing? Today’s post’s my take on a typical autumnal make-up look. I love Autumn, it’s my favourite season of the year. And I love the colours we get to wear more during these months, even more so when applied to make-up!
Therefore I thought I’d share with you my take on a typically autumnal make-up look, featuring warm-toned eyeshadows and vampy, burgundy lips! ♥
Here’s everything I’ve used:
♥ Foundation: Healthy Mix, Bourjois
♥ Concealer: Liquid Concealer, Wycon
♥ Powder: Soft Focus Compact, Kiko
♥ Bronzer / Contouring: Hoola, Benefit
♥ Blush: Soft Touch Blush in ‘105’, Kiko
♥ Eyeshadows: Tartelette in Bloom palette, Tarte Cosmetics
♥ Mascara: Roller Lash, Benefit
♥ Lip Pencil: Smart Lip Pencil in ‘710 Rouge Noir’, Kiko
For my eyes, I’ve used Jetsetter (second in from the left, top row) all over the crease, going back and forth, in windshield wiper motions and making sure there were no harsh lines. I’ve also applied it all over my lower lash line.
Then I applied Leader (probably my favourite shadow in the palette) to the outer «V» of the lid, smoking it out a bit and blending it well with Jetsetter. I’ve also applied it to the outer corner of the lower lash line and, again, blended it in well with the previous shadow.
To finish it off, I applied Rocker (my second favourite eyeshadow from the palette) all over the lid. I love this ever so slightly shimmery-brown eyeshadows for an everyday look, they’re my favourites!
For lips, I had to go with burgundy (which is one of my favourite colours), dark and vampy! It’s just Autumn on a lip, for me 😛 So I chose the only lip product I have that’s that colour, which is this stunning (both in colour and in formula) lip pencil from Kiko.
And here’s the finished look!
What do you guys think? Would you recreate it? Also, please tell me all about your fave make-up look for Autumn, I’d love to know! 😀
