Summer Look Book

Hello, lovelies!

How are you doing? Hope you all had a lovely week 🙂

Though weather here’s still a bit bipolar (there are some rare occasions in which we get sunshine and a bit of warmth, but it’s mostly cold and windy and rainy), I thought I’d do a Look  Book type of post. I love watching these sort of videos on Youtube, I love Fashion and Image Consulting, but I’d never done one of these posts before.

My Summery outfits are pretty basic: jeans, converse, tee and a pop of colour somewhere (jacket or bag), and the occasional dress. Also, since I moved to France last March, I don’t really have many things with me that I’d love to feature on this post (my stilettos, a gorgeous silvery and orange statement necklace…) so this post might just be a tad simple for many of you 😛

On with the outfits, then:

The first three outfits are pretty similar but they really sum up my style: tee (black & white, preferably), jeans (and I’ve been loving these boyfriend jeans for a couple of months now), black converse and a pop of colour somewhere (either the bag, if I don’t need a jacket; or the jacket, which I then pair with my black, studded bag).

Top: Benetton | Vest top: Intimissimi | Jacket: Zara | Belt: H&M | Jeans and both bags: Mango | Shoes: Converse

.

Top, jeans and both bags: Mango |  Blazer: Camaïeu (french store that’s pretty much like H&M) | Belt: H&M | Shoes: Converse

.

You can’t really see it here but this tee’s actually “splattered” with dots of so many different colours, it reminds me of an M&M’s McFlurry 😛 I love it!

Tee and belt: H&M | Jacket: Zara | Jeans and both bags: Mango | Shoes: Converse

.

I’m not one to wear skirts but I do love a good midi-skirt! This one’s navy blue so I can pair it with many different colours. But then again, I’m pretty neutral when it comes to my preferences so I love to pair it with white trainers, the same white tee with multi-coloured dots and my trusted orangy bag that I love to death!

Tee and belt: H&M | Skirt: New Look | Bag: Mango | Trainers: Zara

Surprise, surprise, a black and white dress! I just love the colour combination, okay? 😛 I love the geometric print on this dress, how the stipes on the top are vertical and V-shaped on the bottom-half, it gives the illusion of being taller and slimmer. And I love the shape of it and the pockets as well.

Another dress that I absolutely love and that I always get compliments on whenever I wear it! It’s black with white butterflies and the top’s actually loose from the skirt (only the interior bit’s sown in) so it accentuates the waist-line. The length is perfect for me and I love how it has a V-shaped sort of cleavage on the back.

I do own a dress that’s not black & white, see? 😛 I love the colour of this maxi dress, which I love to pair with these brown and gold sandals (which I’ not that crazy about, don’t know why I bought them…). Again, I love how it accentuates the waist-line, I think the colour suits me well and I really do like the fact that the sides are opened, allowing a bit more movement.

Dress: Zara | Sandals: Laredoute

.

For like a date night or a night out with friends, I think both these looks are great:

I love the layered-front white top. You can dress it up or down, depending on the occasion, so you get much more wear out of it than you do with a regular top. Then, of course, heels! I love wearing heels and I think some heeled-sandals take any outfit to another level.

Top and bag: Zara | Jeans: Mango | Blazer: Camaïeu | Rings, necklace and belt: H&M | Sandals: New Look

.

This look’s a small variation of the previous one: a simple, 3/4 sleeves white shirt that laces up at the waist and a pastel pink blazer. Everything else’s the same 🙂

Top and bag: Zara | Jeans: Mango | Blazer and sandals: New Look | Rings, necklace and belt: H&M

And there you have it, guys. My Summer look book! What do you guys think of this sort of post? And which look’s your favourite? Tell me all about that in the comments 🙂

Love,

Alice ♥

  1. I actually like all the looks you did, especially the third one. Though, there’s no way I’ll wear a maxi dress because I’m petite. 😀 makes me shorter. Haha. You look great in it though.

    1. Thanks, dear 😊 I’m not that tall either xD you could wear a maxi dress, as long as you accentuated your waist. It’s not ideal but you could rock it 😉 sorry for the late reply. Xx
