Hello, lovelies!
How are you doing? Hope you all had a lovely weekend 🙂
Today I bring you my go-to Spring make-up look for this year. The weather here is still pretty much Winter-like but I’m so looking forward to Spring (I mean, it officially began over a month ago so…)! I love Spring Fashion, Spring weather, Spring make-up… I just love Spring!
That being said, I wouldn’t wait any longer to share with you my go-to Spring make-up look for this year!
As I mentioned on my previous post, I’m still not applying make-up to my eyes, following my Lasik surgery. I’m so looking forward to actually playing around with eyeshadows, winged liner and mascara again, you have no idea!
These are the products I used to achieve the look:
I had to start by applying my current favourite foundation: the Healthy Mix Foundation by Bourjois! It really does make he skin look quite healthy and luminous, while still providing a nice coverage and not looking caky at all.
I then applied my new illuminating concealer (the Dream Lumi Touch by Maybelline), precisely to highlight under my eyes and the centre of my face as well (centre of the forehead and chin, bridge and sides of the nose), to balance things out.
I followed that with the Cover-up Concealer by H&M Beauty so I could – go figure – cover-up the under-eye circles and any blemishes I was having at the moment. I set everything in place with the Kiko Invisible Powder (best powder ever in the worst packaging ever!), applied Hoola to the hollows of the cheeks, temples and sides of the bridge of the nose, and then my MAC blush in Cubic (my fave!).
Then, for brows, I filled them in with Faint, the darkest brown in the Naked Basics palette, and then ran Gimme Brow through them just to set the wild things in place.
For lips, I started by outlining them with Beurre, my favourite lip pencil by MAC. After that, I applied Twig (another one of my faves, also by MAC) lipstick all over my lips, and added a bit of lipgloss on top – it was Written in The Stars, by Fleur De Force.
And this is the finished look!
.
What about you, guys? What is your favourite look for Spring?
Love,
Alice ❤
Oooh the Kiko powder sounds good. Shame about the packaging but I need an invisible powder. Is it quite drying or not? Also sooo need to try Hoola still! Beautiful spring look. Love the lip colours you’ve chose x

Thanks, dear 🙂 the Kiko powder’s totally worth it. I’m quite oily and it’s the only powder I’ve ever tried that will keep me matte throughout the day. It’s not drying at all, it literally feels like you have nothing on 🙂 I love the Hoola, it’s perfect 😍 thanks for reading! xx
