Hello, lovelies!
How are you doing? Hope you all had a lovely weekend! 🙂 I know I start all my monthly favourites posts the same way but I can’t believe it’s already May! Honestly, where has time disappeared to?!
Anyway, it’s that time of the month again, where I share with you my favourite products for the previous month. April was a bit chaotic, with loads of stuff happening and not much time to give new products a go – therefore, my favourites for April have pretty much been the same as for March.
Let’s do this anyway, though! 😉
I wrote a post about this a week ago so you can read that for more details, shall you want to. I ran out of my H&M concealer and wanted to try a new one, that was a bit more illuminating but still affordable – and great quality.
I found this one at my local drugstore and, since it wasn’t too expensive and it seemed to be everything I wanted (concealer + highlighter), I decided to give it a try. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, it is an amazing concealer that ticks all the boxes for me. Doesn’t really get rid of dark circles but it’s not its job anyway so it’s fine by me 🙂
.

I have raved about this foundation in quite a few posts over the last month so you might just be a bit sick of reading about it bit, what can I say – I love this foundation! I never thought I would, since I had super oily skin.
I always ran screaming for the hills whenever I read the words luminous or anything to do with glow. I don’t know if it’s the foundation that’s that amazing, or the brush I have been applying it with (more about that in a sec), or simply the fact that my skin has been so much better but this foundation has been looking perfect on my skin!
.

I was given this lipstick for my birthday (almost two months ago – time sure flies!), but I had been craving it not-so-secretly for the past few years. My mother-in-law has the same one and ever since she got it, I have been obsessing over it.
I just love how it looks on the lips (you can see how it looks on here). You can build the colour up, which is berry-ish with red undertones and that is full of good stuff for your lips, since it’s a baume (a balm, basically) and leaves your lips moisturised throughout the day (heaven!).
.

Oh! These brushes are sooooooo good! I have been loving them for the past couple of months – I also got them for my birthday -, and my make-up changed completely when I started applying it with them (again, can be because my skin has been so much better or because the foundation is so perfect).
The stippling brush is my absolute favourite of the bunch, I love how it applies foundation, making it look like flawless, natural skin! The sculpting brush is a close second – it gives you the most perfect contour ever!

A couple of weeks ago I posted my current skincare routine and of course it features these two babies. I also got them for my birthday and have been loving them ever since! I use both every night and my skin just loves it.
The electric device isn’t the fairest of them all but it was quite affordable and it does the job brilliantly! Truth be told, I have never tried the real deal – like Luna or Clarisonic – but I love this one. The only issue with it is that I have to change the batteries quite often but it is worth it, in my opinion 😉
.
Another product that I got for my birthday was this moisturising face mask by The Body Shop. I got the wrong one – the sleep-in instead of the normal one -, but I’m glad I did because I love this one even more!
The idea of sleep-in masks always creeped me out (I hate feeling stuff on my body that isn’t supposed to be there – mostly so when I’m asleep). I just felt like I would get hairs stuck to my face (just thinking about it is giving me the chills!), to the face mask, and that I wouldn’t be able to sleep properly because it would be sticky and gross. That couldn’t be farther from the truth! I sleep like a baby and wake up the following day with amazing, softer skin – what else could I ask for?! I am so glad I got this one!
What about you, guys? What were your favourite products the past month? I would love to know! 🙂
Love,
Alice ❤
