How are you doing? Hope you all had a lovely weekend 🙂 Today I leave you with a post about the latest campaign by Mango, that is apparently here to stay.
It is called #NewPrices and consists of cheaper clothes, basically. To appeal to a larger public, the already quite affordable brand (which is one of my personal favourites) lower – in about 15% – the price of some of their pieces, most of which daywear.
According to a press release, this strategy is aimed specifically at younger consumers looking for affordable, quality fashion. Let’s be honest, though, it is not going to please only the younger consumers!
The brand’s competitors are in expansion mode, too. Zara quietly launched a new category and is refocusing its retail strategy to expand its e-comm (in lieu of aggressively expanding its roster of store locations), while H&M continues to grow its sustainable Conscious Exclusive range. And then you have Primark, that offers you very affordable clothing but lacks, in my opinion, the quality that brands like Mango can offer.
I leave you with some shots of the campaign – very Coachella-like! – and then with some pieces from the collection.
What do you guys think of this new collection? Would you buy anything? I know I would 😛
