Life Changes: Another Update On My Life

Hello, lovelies!

How are you doing? As I mentioned a while ago, I had been away from blogging for some time because there have recently been a few changes in my life.

First of all, I moved back to my hometown, as I mention on a previous post. Uni was over in December so we moved back to our hometown (me and the boyfriend), since Uni was the only thing tying us to Lisbon. Then December was a bit chaotic (finals, moving, and then Christmas – which for me means dividing my time between three houses, all of them quite far from each other). Also, we did not have internet access back in our hometown and since our laptops have no batteries (which means they have to be connected to the electricity in order to function), it was very hard to get access to the internet.

Then on January I had Lasik – eye surgery for correcting my once poor eyesight. And that, though it is not a complicated procedure at all, is a process in itself. I had one eye done one week, then the other one a week after. But then there were quite a few appointments afterwards to make sure everything was healing properly. Oh, and extra care with my eyes: no rubbing them at all (which means no make-up), always wear sunglasses out, take extra care when washing my face and taking a shower…

After all that, I managed to get away for a couple of weeks to see my family (and finally get a bit of access to the internet). And then the biggest change happened: I moved to another country! That’s right, yours truly here is now writing to you from France 🙂

So, there you have it! Those were the reasons that kept me from posting a while ago but now I am going to try to remain an active blogger. I am still adapting to this new country but I am hoping to be able to post as regularly as always 🙂
