Hello, lovelies!
How are you doing? Today I leave you with my thoughts on a product that I have been using for the past month: the ‘Ultra Calming Facial Toner’ from Rituals.
As I mentioned before, The Body Shop’s prices went up so I had to buy my products elsewhere. I was almost running out of my toner (I was using the ‘purifying’ version of this one from L’Oréal and hating it!!!) so I decided to check out Rituals, as I had already used one of their toners a few years ago.
Since my skin was having a massive breakout at the time, I decided to go for the ‘ultra calming’ toner to see if it helped clearing out my skin, as well as keeping it properly clean.
On the website, it says:
Contains calming botanical extracts. Ultra mild formula, without alcohol. Cleanses and softens the skin. The ultimate finish to your cleansing ritual.
I must say, I am truly impressed with it! Every time I use it, I can feel my skin clean and soft, I can tell it really appreciates this product!
I love that it has a pump, so you do not waste any product. And you can lock it as well, which is great for travelling!
As for the price, it is €11,50 / $13 / £8,5, which is a bit more than your average high street (drugstore) toner would be but more affordable than The Body Shop, and than more expensive brands as well.
You can read more about it on the Rituals’ website or by clicking here.
What about you, guys? What is your favourite toner?
Love,
Alice ❤
Always go for a toner without alcohol! If you like this one you should try the Toning Mist by Temple Spa, smells amazing, natural ingredients and restores the skins ph levels. Will be blogging about it in the next couple of weeks 🙂

I love alcohol free skincare products and to be honest, I am not a regular user of toner but I try to use once in a while from the french brand Lancome.

Toner is a very important step in every skincare routine, so I use it everyday, morning and night. Lancome does amazing skincare so I think you’re good with what you have at home 🙂 xx

Yes, I agree.

Lancôme really isn’t that great to be honest. It’s very harsh on skin, will only be treating the surface of your skin and is tested on animals. Cosmoceautical brands or more natural brands are a lot better ☺️

Really? I had no idea! I had only heard good things about it but I’ve never tried it. I agree, more natural brands are a lot better ☺ thanks for your comment! xx
