Kiko ‘Invisible Powder’ – Is It Worth It?

Hello, lovelies!

How are you doing? Hope everything is okay 🙂 Today I bring you another review for yet another Kiko product. Sorry, seems like all I review nowadays is from Kiko but that has been happening for two reasons:

  1. When I took my Styling Course, one of our teachers always had her make-up looking flawless by the end of the day and someone asked what was her secret, what she had put on her face, and she replied “it’s all Kiko!”. So, since I am pretty much a greasy mess, I am always looking for products that will keep my face shine-free all day long!
  2. Kiko is affordable 😉

Also, I had hit pan on my MAC ‘Mineralize Skinfinish’ so I was in need of a new powder. I had never tried neither translucent nor loose powders before so I decided to give this one a go, particularly for the under eye area where I wanted my make-up to look a tad lighter from the concealer.

I know this is not a very good sign but I do have to start with what I hate about it because I do really hate it:

  1. The packaging! I hate that weird lid that has sort of a sponge attached to it. Because it really is not practical to use, you just cannot use it (if you can, please let me know how it is done!). And you cannot get the powder out through those little holes without it. So I have to detach the whole thing and be left with the powder container, without the lid.
  2. It gets everywhere! Honestly, I have to cover my torso and legs with a towel so I do not get my clothes dirty. And ain’t nobody got time for that in the morning!

The positive side of it is that it actually does work! It does a very good job at keeping me almost completely matte all day long and leaves the skin feeling very silky and soft once you apply it.

So, if you are looking for a new powder and are fine with it getting everywhere, I would definitely recommend that you give this one a try! 🙂

Have you ever tried a product like this? If so, did it also get everywhere?

Love,

Alice ❤

    1. Sim, não dá jeito nenhum! Ficas com pó na camisola, mas calças… Em todo o lado! Mas realmente faz o trabalhinho dele e deixa a pele mate é fofinha 🙂 xx
